The Cultural Fluency Initiative takes place in Minnesota and will convene an unusual mixture of traditional and contemporary cultural groups and arts organizations in the State and beyond.
Our plan is to leverage Minnesota’s unique characteristics and social composition
- Proximity of rural and urban communities and lifestyles
- Ethnic diversity relative to population size
- Well-organized and well-funded statewide cultural infrastructure
- Well-known spirit and history of innovation
- The State’s reputation for civility and temperateness
